The fiberglass pultrusion process results in a permanent, structurally reinforced shape, ideally suited for use as window and door members.
Raw materials include fiberglass reinforcing fibers and a mixture of engineered resins.
The combination of the resin and glass is pulled through a unique heated die. The heat of the die hardens the shape and a cured profile corresponding to the shape of the die is produced.
Pultruded shapes provide the benefits of high strength-to-weight ratios, corrosion resistance, thermal insulation, dimensional stability and weatherability.
